'WTF', 'we're dead': Some Liverpool fans react to worrying report pre-Man United. The Reds right-back hobbled off against Napoli and a photo doing the rounds on Twitter has got some supporters anxious ahead of Manchester United.
With Liverpool bracing themselves for arguably one of the biggest fixtures in world football this weekend, there may be some worries among the Reds contingent in terms of personnel.
The Premier League leaders will be hosting Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday, a game steeped in history and boasting a fierce rivalry.
Jose Mourinho's charges aren't exactly firing on all cylinders this season, sitting a lowly sixth in the table - and a massive 16 points behind Liverpool.
However, Jurgen Klopp is already without Joe Gomez, who suffered a leg injury in the 3-1 win over Burnley earlier this month, while Joel Matip is also out for up to six weeks after he fractured his collarbone, according to Liverpool's official website.
Now, there are fitness concerns over the fitness of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who hobbled off the pitch in stoppage time of the Reds' heroic 1-0 Champions League victory over Napoli which put them in the last 16 of the competition.
The Daily Mail has already reported that the young right-back will not feature against United this weekend, but a further update doing the rounds on Twitter is sure to make Reds fans even more nervous.
In a photo circulated on Thursday night, the England defender appears to be sporting a protective boot as he took part in a gaming advert along with Gomez and United's Jesse Lingard.

Some Liverpool fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts, and many of them were somewhat pessimistic:
We’re dead
