Brom suggests all medical schools should teach integrative medicine and warns that the focus on treating disease rather than promoting health will “eventually sink all departments of health which have instead become departments of disease. ”

“Health clinics have become disease clinics and health practitioners have become disease practitioners. The focus on disease has moved doctors away from an essential calling -- the focus on health. ”
